Ever since I was a kid…
I’ve been fascinated with how things worked. From vacuum cleaners to remote control cars, I was obsessed with taking things apart to see what made them go. With my life-long love of learning came a love of synthesis (my super power) and teaching others. This calling led me to my first career as a research scientist and engineer (and no, that is not Gene Simmons in that photo).
When I grew up…
My pursuit of learning led me to fall in love with the study of how sales machines were built at high-growth tech start-ups. But I found there was a gap. Most focused solely on relentless execution while ignoring the underlying forces behind how people buy, sell, and develop. Harmonizing my love of science with the study of human behavior, sales psychology became my new passion. From negotiation and messaging to leadership and coaching, the data is clear; modern selling is about inspiring higher levels of conviction in our teams, generating greater levels of buyer trust and satisfaction, and unleashing the power of emotional intelligence.
Cerebral Selling is my “Why“. A life-long journey of learning, synthesizing, and teaching. Eternally grateful for the experience and to share this journey with so many great people along the way!
